So far we have had over 34.000 earthquakes since they started on the 24th of February. According to local officials that is more than all of 2020, even though last year was considered high in earthquakes!
Another comparison is the year 2019 with 3.400 earthquakes. In general or between the years 2009-2014 we had approximately 1000-3000 earthquakes per year.

The new estimate of possible magma (lava) flow is far away from villages.
